Burning instructions

1. Trim the wick

Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick to 1/4 inch (6 mm). This helps prevent the flame from getting too large and producing soot. Use a wick trimmer or scissors for best results.

2. Burn time

For the first burn, allow the candle to melt across the entire surface. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn. Aim for a burn time of 2-4 hours per session, but never exceed 4 hours.

3. Re-trimming

After each burn, trim the wick again before relighting. This helps maintain a clean burn and prolongs the candle’s life.

4. Extinguishing the flame

To avoid smoke and soot, use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Do not use the lid to extinguish the candle.

5. Candle safety

- Always burn the candle on a heat-resistant surface.

- Keep candles away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.

- Never leave a burning candle unattended.

- Stop burning the candle when about 1/2 inch (12 mm) of wax remains at the bottom to avoid overheating the container.

6. Storing your candle

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and dust to maintain their fragrance and appearance.
